Volunteers come from every walk of life. You don’t have to fit the stereotype to give back the community. The only “qualification” is an interest in trying new experiences and helping others.

There are many reasons to get involved and volunteer.

These can include:
  • Opportunities to meet other students with similar interests or passions
  • An opportunity to make a contribution to the Brock community
  • Practicing transferrable skills that will be relevant to your career
  • An opportunity to set your resume apart from your peers
  • Getting engaged in aspects of the University that affect life in the classroom
  • A better understanding of BUSU (the organization that exists to serve your needs!)
  • Memories and friendships that will affect the rest of your experiences at Brock

All volunteer hours are tracked and recorded through Experience Plus, which you will have for the duration of your university career and is an extremely valuable addition to your resume. For more details about Experience Plus, click here.
